Since their formation in 1999, the Rare Roses have developed the six programmes described below. The length of each programme and of the individual sets can be adapted to suit each particular occasion.

1. “baroque and beyond”
The Rare Roses´ original and innovative programme, coupling Baroque sonatas with a tasteful selection of jazz, pop and rock songs.

2. “Songs from Vauxhall Gardens”
Baroque pop songs from The Musical Entertainer, which was published fortnightly from 1737 to 1739. These would certainly have been among the music featured at the famous 18th century pleasure gardens, and some of the songs even contain references to the Gardens.

3. “jazz for fun”
Jazz, show and swing classics from America`s first swing era, enriched with selected rock and reggae songs, and a dash of Latin.

4. “Baroque for fun”
Choice music of the 18th century, from the Wettiner court in Dresden, from France, Italy and England, and from the court of Frederick the Great in Potsdam, played in its original fresh, lively and entertaining style.

5. “Der Himmlische Schall”
A programme of Advent and Christmas music, bringing the much-loved melodies of the rich German tradition together with festive concert pieces of the European Baroque.

6. “Warum betrübst du dich”
An inspirational programme of sacred music from the Baroque era.

Seit ihrer Gründung im Jahre 1999 entwickelten die Rare Roses die im Folgenden aufgeführten sechs Programme. Die Länge eines Programms und die einzelnen Sets werden auf den jeweiligen Anlaß und Ort perfekt abgestimmt.

Das innovative Programm: Barocksonaten gekonnt mit einer geschmackvollen Auswahl von Jazz-, Pop- und Rocksongs verknüpft.

2. “Songs from Vauxhall Gardens”
Barocke Popsongs aus dem Musical Entertainer, einer von 1737-1739 vierzehntägig erschienenen Notensammlung. Die Rare Roses nennen dieses Programm “Songs from Vauxhall Gardens”, weil die Stücke die Musik des damals äußerst beliebten Londoner Lustgartens Vauxhall repräsentieren.

3. “Jazz for fun”
Jazz-, Show- und Swing-Klassiker aus Amerikas erster Swing-Ära, bereichert mit ausgewählten Rocksongs, Reggae und einem Schuß Latin.
Besetzung: Gesang, Flöte, Digital Cembalo
Länge: variabel bis zu drei Stunden, zuzüglich Pausen

4. “Barock und Rokoko”
Erlesene Musik des 18. Jahrhunderts vom Dresdner Hof, aus Frankreich, Italien, England und vom Hofe Friedrichs des Großen, frisch, lebendig und unterhaltsam gespielt.
Besetzung: Flöte und Cembalo
Auf Wunsch in historischen Kostümen
Länge: variabel bis zu drei Stunden, zuzüglich Pausen

5. “Der Himmlische Schall”
Das Weihnachtsprogramm mit bekannten deutschen Weihnachtsliedern und feierlichen Konzertstücken der europäischen Barockzeit.
Besetzung: Flöte und Digital Cembalo
Länge: bis zu 90 Minuten

6. “Warum betrübst du dich”
Geistliche Werke von großen Meistern des Barock.
Besetzung: Flöte und Orgel
Länge: bis zu 90 Minuten
